EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a Design Engineer to join a precision engineering company located in Northamptonshire working on a permanent basis.

Role & Responsibilities:
Design and develop highperformance powertrain components
Oversee engine manufacturing and assembly processes
Utilise CAD tools for modelling and technical drawings
Conduct structural analysis on components to ensure reliability
Collaborate with customers teams and stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions
Apply problemsolving skills to optimise engine performance
Work under tight deadlines while maintaining a structured and analytical approach
Candidates must be able to demonstrate:
Minimum 3years postgraduate experience in Engine Design
Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering
Strong knowledge of Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) / Hybrid or Electric Powertrain
Proven experience in designing major engine components
Indepth knowledge of engine design manufacturing and assembly
High competence in CAD modelling & drawing (preferably CATIA 5
Proficiency in component structural analysis
Experience in strategic customer liaison
