Job Description

Supply Administration and Operations
Macdill Air Force Base Tampa FL

The Supply Administration and Operations assists the United States Marine Corps Forces Central Command (MARCENT) and subordinate commands by serving within the logistics directorate task area. The positions primary mission involves assisting in the planning and coordination of deployment sustainment and redeployment support for Marine Corps forces assigned or attached to CENTCOM working with units and support agencies worldwide to ensure equipment accountability responsive supply support distribution efforts and monitors both ground and aviation equipment readiness. The Supply Administration and Operations directly supports services for MARCENT G4 providing supply administration and operational support to ensure the efficient of MARCENT OAMS tasks both within the continental United States (CONUS) and outside the continental United States (OCONUS). The Supply Administration and Operations will perform the following duties:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct supply administration and provide supply operational support.
  • Provide technical research functions for customer inquiries multimedia data entry scanning and retrieval system functions generation of routine reports and requisition and procurement processing.
  • Maintain the permanent record and account for equipment through Global Combat Support SystemMarine Corps (GCSSMC).
  • Perform applicable budget formulation and review functions for future current and expired fiscal years.
  • Track all activities/programs through Defense Agency Initiative (DAI) that will have a financial impact on the organization.
  • Conduct audits as directed and maintain an electronic filing system of all requirement paperwork.
  • Identify and provide information to the comptroller on Unmatched Disbursements (UMDs) and Negative Unliquidated Obligations (NULOs) on error and exception listings.
  • Solve data output interpretations problems and contact appropriate sources to resolve questionable areas.
  • Ensure proper records and source documents supporting fund are maintained by appropriate activities.
  • Provide weekly updates to the Responsible Officers and Supply Officer.
  • Provide weekly reports on requirements and appropriate document transaction status.

EDUCATION

  • HS diploma or equivalent required.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum ten years of military experience.
  • Experience in supply administration including operational support requisition processing and procurement.
  • Experience in conducting technical research for customer inquiries performing multimedia data entry and utilizing scanning and retrieval systems.
  • Background in budget formulation and review with experience handling financial impact tracking through the Defense Agency Initiative (DAI).
  • Experience conducting audits maintaining electronic filing systems and managing requirement paperwork.

CORE SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • Skilled in identifying and providing information on Unmatched Disbursements (UMDs) and Negative Unliquidated Obligations (NULOs) and resolving data output interpretation problems.
  • Expertise in managing supply administration functions including requisition processing procurement and operational support.
  • Strong skills in budget formulation and tracking with the ability to manage financial impact through DAI.
  • Advanced proficiency with groupware applications (SharePoint MS Teams) and the Microsoft Office suite (Word Power Point Excel etc. desired. Proficiency in using GCSSMC for equipment accountability and record maintenance.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills desired.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Required to sit for extended periods of time and maintain focus.

SPECIAL POSITION NOTATIONS

  • Travel is required.
  • Qualification as an authorized company driver is required. All authorized company drivers must have a valid drivers license current automobile insurance and a driving record that is acceptable to the companys auto insurance provider.

SECURITY CLEARANCE

  • A Secret clearance is required for this position.
