Location: London UK

As a Manager of field Engineering of Digital Native businesses Emerging Enterprises and Startup accounts (Data & AI) you will lead a team of Presales Solutions Architects focusing on complex strategic accounts helping to lead our UK&I and EMEA expansion. Your experience partnering with sales organisations will help to close revenue with opportunities while coaching new sales and presales team members to work together. You will guide your team and be involved with opportunities to enhance your teams effectiveness. You must be an expert at communicating complex business valuefocused solutions; supporting complex sales cycles; and building relationships with key stakeholders in large corporations.

You will report to the Director Field Engineering

The impact you will have:

  • Manage hiring onboarding and building your PreSales Solutions Architect team
  • Rapidly scale the designated team without sacrificing quality
  • Build a collaborative culture within a rapidgrowth team. To embody and promote Databricks customerobsessed teamwork and diverse culture
  • Support increase in ARR on investment of Solutions Architect involvement in sales cycles
  • Promote a solution and valuebased selling fieldengineering organisation
  • Display an understanding of business needs and revenue potential for accounts in the assigned region
  • Build Databricks brand in partnership with the Marketing and Sales team

What we look for:

  • Experience in presales manager role in developing managing and building a team of successful Big Data Cloud or SaaS professionals
  • Experience working with Digital Native businesses Emerging Enterprises and Startup companies (working with customers up to $1 billion dollar in revenue).
  • Passionate about data and AI market and Cloud software models and being able to deliver a strong POV on the value of Databricks solutions
  • Have experience scaling and mentoring field and technical teams
  • Knowledgeable in and passionate about datadriven decisions AI and Cloud software models
  • Great at instituting processes for technical field members to improve efficiency
  • Market experience of the EMEA region
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Engineering or equivalent work experience
