Job Description
Job Summary:
Village Caregiving is currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated In home Caregiver to join our Bowling Green team caring for clients in their home in Bonnieville Kentucky. This position is parttime and hourly providing crucial care and support to individuals in need within our community. As an individual contributor the caregiver will be responsible for providing handson assistance and support to our clients in their own homes promoting their independence and overall wellbeing.

Responsibilities:
Provide personal care and support to clients including bathing dressing grooming toileting and any other necessary personal hygiene assistance
Assist with medication management and administration according to prescribed schedules
Monitor and record vital signs changes in condition and other important information and report any concerns to the healthcare team
Help with light housekeeping tasks such as meal preparation laundry and tidying up living spaces
Accompany clients to appointments errands and social activities as needed
Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and their families providing emotional support and companionship
Follow all safety protocols and procedures including infection control measures and emergency response protocols
Maintain accurate and uptodate documentation of all care provided
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare or caregiving role
Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate patient and reliable nature
Must be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
