Job Description

Domestic considerations: FTRS(HC); office based (MonFri) with some travel; Occasional WFH may be authorised.

Role: Will plan and cohere the development and delivery of LEDG outputs across a Gp of 700 in 12 Ops Gps. Primus inter pares of HQ SO2s.

1. Develop options for the cohered delivery of LEDG outputs.
2. In conjunction with COS LEDG build the Interim and Target Operating Models.
3. Optimise the delivery of individual throughcareer development through novel approaches.
4. Reduce overtraining/ overpreparation within the Armys foundation.
5. Develop and embed a process for considering changes to Individual Training and development.
6. Lead and contribute to OPTs as required.
7. In conjunction with SO3 G3 translate delivery plans into with the LEDG Ops Groups.
Demands a manoeuvrist mindset. The LEDG will demand a new way of thinking about Individual development and this post will lead that change journey achieving profound changes for the Army.

Previous staff experience in any field beneficial.
