If so our team is searching for a Full Stack Member of Technical Staff to collaborate with a team of software engineers in designing developing and deploying cloudnative solutions that meet customer needs. In this role the MTS will be responsible for creating and implementing fullstack software solutions including frontend web frameworks backend services microservices databases and the cloud infrastructure necessary for deployment and maintenance.

As a key contributor the MTS will play a critical role in the entire software development lifecyclefrom ideation to deployment and ongoing support. Were looking for a wellrounded engineer with expertise across the full software stack who thrives in a dynamic collaborative environment.

  • Imagines designs and builds full stack web solutions including both the back end and front end
  • Code Review and mentoring of other team members
  • Imagines designs and builds advanced scheduled jobs and microservices defining new patterns and orchestrations
  • Imagines designs and implements advanced data storage mechanisms using relational and nonrelational data stores
  • Explores builds and configures cloud services using infrastructure as code. Recommends new cloud services and patterns
  • Presents ideas which improve an existing system/process/service. Presents new ideas which utilize new frameworks to improve an existing system/process/service
  • Collaborates with team to break down features into user stories and estimate them
  • Awareness of technology roadmap. Updates job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging engineering practices. Continuously learns creates content and teaches others specific subject areas. Informally coaches and contributes to the development of others through mentoring or in house workshops and learning sessions. Coach and develop engineers across functional teams on technology decisions. Influence technology and policy decisions made at Director level across organization. Understand financial decisions including NPV and ROI based on customer experience/business drivers. Present highly technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical decisionmakers
  • Provides direction on creation of reliability practices metrics and tooling based on industry best practices and incident data.

Education:

  • Bachelors Degree Computer Science engineering or related field of study (Required)

Work Experience:

  • 9 years technical engineering experience including fullstack web development (frontend and backend) (Required)
  • 7 years or experience in database schema design and writing SQL (Required)
  • 3 years DevOps experience including infrastructure as code (Required)
  • 4 years handson experience with cloud services (AWS Azure GCP) (Required)
  • 3 years experience mentoring and coaching team members

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Expertise in multiple technologies and software stacks (Required)
  • Strong understanding of cloud capabilities and how to optimize them for team success (Required)
  • Ability to setup a completely new full stack environment from scratch including build steps and backend infrastructure (Required)
  • Proficiency in html css webpack JavaScript at least one front end framework and one backend framework (Required)
  • Solid grasp of web protocols how full stack applications operate and data flows (Required)
  • Experience with database modeling and SQL. Capable of performance tuning and refactoring from one data store to another (Required)
  • Indepth knowledge cloud system parameters configurations and how to alter them for desired results (Required)
  • Indepth knowledge of triage techniques tools for performance tuning Java language is required. Similar skill in Python and Go is desired.
  • Strong DevOps background and CICD pipeline knowledge is required
  • Background in developing software standards.

Base Pay Range: $145400 $262300

Corporate Bonus Target: 20

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidates actual pay will be based on various factors such as work location qualifications and experience so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At TMobile employees in regular nontemporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a yearend bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employees eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
