The Opportunity:

Our Client is looking for an Associate Attorney to join our Richmond office. The ideal candidate will have experience in regulatory compliance and litigation with a proven track record of handling complex legal issues. This role offers the opportunity to work on highprofile cases and provide strategic legal counsel to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in regulatory and litigation matters including administrative hearings trials and appeals.
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings motions and briefs.
  • Advise clients on regulatory compliance and risk management.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and legal arguments.
  • Manage case files and ensure timely and accurate documentation.
  • Participate in client meetings and provide updates on case progress.
  • Stay current with changes in laws and regulations affecting clients industries.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Virginia State Bar.
  • At least three years of experience in regulatory and litigation practice.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of professionalism and ethical standards.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with federal and state regulatory agencies.
  • Background in industries such as food & beverage hospitality gaming and retail.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
