The Opportunity:
Our Client is looking for an Associate Attorney to join our Richmond office. The ideal candidate will have experience in regulatory compliance and litigation with a proven track record of handling complex legal issues. This role offers the opportunity to work on highprofile cases and provide strategic legal counsel to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in regulatory and litigation matters including administrative hearings trials and appeals.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings motions and briefs.
- Advise clients on regulatory compliance and risk management.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and legal arguments.
- Manage case files and ensure timely and accurate documentation.
- Participate in client meetings and provide updates on case progress.
- Stay current with changes in laws and regulations affecting clients industries.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Virginia State Bar.
- At least three years of experience in regulatory and litigation practice.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with federal and state regulatory agencies.
- Background in industries such as food & beverage hospitality gaming and retail.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
