The new Senior Capability and Engagement Advisor position will sit within the UNSW National Security Team which leads the Universitys efforts to assist UNSW academic staff with navigating the complexities of international engagements and research agreements.
The role entails providing relevant advice on issues related to foreign interference and geopolitical risk research security dualuse and critical technologies UN and Australian Autonomous sanctions and defence trade controls.
About You:
As the Senior Capability and Engagement Advisor you will support a wholeofUniversity approach to national security risk education awareness and culture setting. You will have a keen interest in geopolitics and excel at managing multiple projects. You will need to be proactive and resourceful;be able to identify knowledge gaps; and develop information or training to address these effectively. More specifically you will have:
