To support the Center for Childrens Healthy Lifestyles & Nutrition its research mission through data collection and project organization. The research assistant will conduct high quality research in clinical and translational science under close supervision of faculty and other team members. The research assistant will recruit perform informed permission/assent and guide families through study measures for several grantfunded projects. The research assistant will also perform follow up study visits with families enter data into REDCap and other databases and maintain an effective means of tracking childrens progress through the studies. The research assistant is required to effectively communicate with supervisors and study team members as well as team members from other study sites. The research assistant should be knowledgeable enthusiastic and motivated to be efficient and productive.

If you are selected for this position you will be asked to supply your immunization records as proof of vaccination. If you and have any concerns about receiving these vaccines medical and/or religious exemptions can be further discussed with Human Resources.

Obtaining consent conducting surveys or administering questionnaires at the time of study visit.
Manage daily project operations and coordinate all parties collecting data
Provide technical assistance to research professional development to support the division research mission.

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $18.02/hr but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
This is an intermittent remote position which means that the person hired will work with his or her manager to determine a schedule that includes both at home and onsite hours at a Childrens Mercy location. The incumbent must live in the Kansas City metro area.
