AXA XL has an exciting opportunity for a new graduate / intern (or similar work experience) to join the IT Security Team to help protect AXA XL from internal and external security threats.

The intern role is for 6 months during this time the successful candidate will spend their time working on a range of identity management project activities.

This role is an entry position for somebody with an IT or Security degree (or suitable experience) who wishes a career in IT or Information Security.

The essential responsibilities will include working under the guidance of the Identity project manager to undertake a range of tasks for example:

  • Investigating and identifying the root cause of identity issues (based on our core three identity platforms Active Directory Auth 0 and Azure Active Directory) and work with the relevant technical teams to resolve issues
  • Under advice and guidance of more senior Identity resources develop new processes and enhance existing processes to increase effectiveness of the identity tools
  • Create materials to explain identity topics to the AXA XL business
  • Creating management updates and reports

Were looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:

  • An IT or Security degree or suitable onthejob education
  • Understanding of identity technologies
  • Understanding of identity governance / security key principles
  • Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas in simple terms
  • Selfmotivated with the ability to organize and prioritize and complete tasks to tight deadlines
