Swimming Pool Maintenance Technician

This position is with the Atlanta location of Americas Swimming Pool Company (ASP). ASP Atlanta is locally owned and operated and serves metro Atlanta focusing on Cobb Dekalb North Fulton and Gwinnett. Responsibilities: Manage a large route of 40 pools per week conducting weekly maintenance performing repairs and prospecting new customers.

Technical Skills:

Conduct regular pool maintenance (test and maintain water quality adjust pool chlorination clean filters and back wash brush and vacuum pools clean tile pressure washing decking and pool areas etc.

Knowledge of water chemistry

Minor equipment repair (e.g. filter and salt cell cleaning replacing pressure gauges etc..

Ability to comfortably lift and carry 50 pounds perhaps multiple times in a day and at times lift and carry 100 pounds.

Business Skills: Candor/Integrity Problem Solving Sense of Urgency Teamwork Communication Customer Focus

Required experience:

Swimming Pool Maintenance and Service: 2 years preferred

Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred

Compensation: Compensation is negotiable based on experience. 401K health and supplemental benefits and paid vacation. Performancebased monthly bonus.

Other:

Must pass a criminal background check.

No illegal drug use (must be able to pass a drug test and be subject to random drug testing).

Valid drivers license with a clean driving record; driving record will need to be acceptable to our insurance company which generally requires less than 6 points within the past 5 years with no major offenses (DUI reckless/negligent driving hit & run etc.

Compensation: $16.00 $22.00 per hour
