Job Description
Saint John Nissanis seeking an Automotive Detailer to join our team!
As an Automotive Detailer at Saint John Nissan you will meticulously clean and restore the interior and exterior of vehicles to a pristine condition. This includes thorough cleaning polishing and waxing of the cars surfaces as well as attention to detail in restoring upholstery carpets and other interior components.
Hourly Wage Range: $17.05 $19.25
Please note that this role is not eligible for Immigration Assistance due to the specific National Occupational Classifications (NOC) requirements.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Report any imperfections on new vehicles to management promptly.
- Apply products correctly to both the interior and exterior of sold vehicles.
- Buff vehicles as needed to maintain highquality appearance.
- Prepare new and used vehicles to ensure they are presented in optimal condition.
- Park vehicles properly in designated areas both on the lot and in delivery zones.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace to ensure a productive and hazardfree environment.
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience as an automotive detailer or in a similar role
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record and the ability to operate both automatic and manual vehicles
- Hardworking selfmotivated and excellent time management skills
- Facial hair will interfere with the ability to achieve a proper seal on CSAapproved respirators; therefore it is a requirement that staff must be cleanshaven. If you are unable to maintain a clean shave where the respirator seals to the face for any reason please inform us in the form of a request for accommodation.
