Description

Gulf Coast News NBC/ABC in Fort Myers Florida has an opening for a Summer Intern in our News Department.

Interns will spend 1012 weeks shadowing various positions in the Newsroom. An example of various tasks that you may perform and gain experience in include:

Assignment Desk Assist team members in gathering news and information.This includes taking and placing telephone calls from reporters sources government agencies and general public; may also assist in research and other tasks.

News Producing Practice writing and formatting scripts for broadcast.

Digital News Production Help research and write content for digital platforms.

Photographers Assist team members with field work and news gathering.
