The Emory University Hospital Midtown (EUHM) Surgical Specialties Team is seeking to hire Anesthetists Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) or Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) to become a vital part of Emory Healthcares integrated academic healthcare system.

Highlights of joining the EUHM Anesthetist Team:
Emory University Hospital Midtown (EUHM) encompasses the historic Crawford Long Hospital founded over 100 years ago in this same location. Recently we have added the stateoftheart Winship Cancer wing to our footprint. Our case load includes a variety of surgical oncology procedures with heavy emphasis on Head and Neck Cancer. Additionally we cover surgical specialties of Vascular Neuro OB/GYN General Surgery Urology Ortho Plastics and multiple robotic procedures. Our EUHM anesthesia group covers this location specifically but offers the option of covering other Emory sites if desired as extra shift work.
At all Emory Healthcare sites our CAAs CRNAs and MDs collaborate within the Anesthesia Care Team model ensuring the highest level of quality and safety for our patients.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (Medium):
2050 lbs; 033 of the work day (occasionally); 1125 lbs 3466 of the workday (frequently); 0110 lbs 67100 of the workday (constantly); Lifting 50 lbs max; Carrying of objects up to 25 lbs; Occasional to frequent standing & walking Occasional sitting Close eye work (computers typing reading writing) Physical demands may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks.

Environmental exposures include but are not limited to: Bloodborne pathogen exposure Biohazardous waste Chemicals/gases/fumes/vapors Communicable diseases Electrical shock Floor Surfaces Hot/Cold Temperatures Indoor/Outdoor conditions Latex Lighting Patient care/handling injuries Radiation Shift work Travel may be required. Use of personal protective equipment including respirators environmental conditions may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks.
