Job Description

CompX Grayslake is a leading manufacturer of highly engineered mechanical and electromechanical locking devices systems for world class original equipment manufacturers and manufacture of precision instruments throttles marine products and accessories.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Light assembly.
  • Ability to pick up small components with left/right hand.
  • Ability to assemble mechanical locks/mechanisms.
  • May rotate to different production lines throughout the plant.
  • Ability to produce and deliver quality products.
  • Ability to check parts after assembly.

Minimum Skills Knowledge Ability and Physical Requirements:

  • High School Diploma and/or G.E.D.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work with small parts.
  • Ability to liftup to 35 lbs.
  • Ability to Stop Call and Wait.
  • Constant exposure to indoor manufacturing environment.
  • Constantly standing and walking throughout the workday.
  • Frequent repetitive motions.
  • Overtime may be required including weekends when necessary.
  • Required to wear eye protection and safety shoes.
