This is a temporary 2year position with a focused scope/deliverable with a potential for transition into a permanent position. The Scheduling Simplification workgroup will focus on enhancing the current scheduling processes by reconfiguring current design and build as well as adding new Epic functionality across >100 Medical Group clinic departments. This position will work alongside an experienced Epic analyst proficient in this type of process transformation as well as a dedicated operational group.
The ideal candidate should be certified and proficient in Epic Cadence Decision Tree design Epic Wait list functionality and patient selfscheduling tools.
JOB DESCRIPTION: The Network Epic Application Analyst provides support and maintenance of the software used in business and clinical processes. The individual is responsible for developing expertise in the use of the electronic health record. Responsibilities include working with endusers vendors and internal Information Services technical staff supporting business/clinical processes and facilitating cohesive integration of software applications from vendor with business and clinical operations. The Network Epic Application Analyst must provide support coverage 24 hours per day 7 days per week. Shift coverage and oncall coverage may be required.
