Job Title: IT Business Analyst
Location: Ipswich or Cardiff 3 days in the office 2 days remote)
Job Type: Permanent

Job Overview:
As an IT Business Analyst you will be a critical link between our IT and business teams helping to ensure that our technical solutions meet the evolving needs of the business. Your strong SQL skills will be essential in analyzing managing and interpreting data to help drive informed decisionmaking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather analyze and document business requirements to develop and enhance IT systems and processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improving business operations through technology solutions.
- Develop and maintain detailed business and functional requirement documents.
- Analyze data using SQL to support decisionmaking including data extraction validation and reporting.
- Work with crossfunctional teams including developers and project managers to implement solutions that align with business objectives.
- Conduct system testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure requirements are met.
- Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to communicate project progress and address any issues.
- Identify areas of improvement within existing IT systems and propose innovative solutions.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Business Administration or a related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (ability to write complex queries data manipulation and report generation).
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Experience with business intelligence (BI) tools or data visualization tools is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fastpaced environment.
