What we are looking for :
We are seeking a full time Production Scheduler to join our Production and Supply Chain Team. Reporting to the Head of Purchasing you will be responsible for creating efficient and effective scheduling of all manufacturing activities ensuring optimal production flow timely communication of production updates and accurate reporting on performance. The role is onsite at our HQ in Scoresby.
What the role entails :
- Develop and maintain a detailed Production Schedule that optimizes resource utilization minimizes downtime and meets production targets
- Scheduling all manufacturing processes considering factors such as machine capacity labor budgets material availability and production priorities
- Create workflows and batches for departments
- Setting and meeting Production targets and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
- Actively participate in the introduction and implementation of Epicor for scheduling
- Support the ongoing use of Epicor for scheduling by maintaining data integrity and assisting with user questions
- Primary point of contact for production updates communicating clearly and proactively with internal teams
- Liaise with Purchasing team to ensure that incoming goods align with the Production Schedule
- Liaise with Director of Sales to ensure stock availability is clearly communicated
- Prepare reports on KPIs
- Analyse and interpret data to identify trends bottlenecks and areas for improvement
What we require :
- Advanced/Expert in Excel
- Minimum 4 years experience in Scheduling for a bespoke manufacturer
- Experience in ERP/MRP introduction
