An exciting opportunity has become available for a Community Occupational Therapist to work for our private client based in Chatham Kent. The post is available to start as soon as possible offering fulltime hours for a shortterm contract.
What will your responsibilities be
As a Community Occupational Therapist you will be responsible for assessing the needs of individuals and developing personalised care plans to enhance their independence and quality of life. You will work closely with clients their families and other professionals to provide holistic support including recommending and arranging for necessary equipment and adaptations. Your role will involve conducting home visits evaluating living environments and ensuring that clients can safely and effectively perform daily activities. Additionally you will provide expert advice advocate for clients needs and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure comprehensive care. This position requires strong communication skills empathy and a commitment to improving the wellbeing of those you serve.
Qualifications and Experiences:
HCPC registration
A valid drivers license with business cover is essential
Proven experience in occupational therapy preferably within community settings
Ability to adapt to a hybrid working model balancing remote case work with inoffice duties
