What You Will Do
Provides Safe Patient CareUnder Physician Delegation:
Administers IV fluid without additives saline flush IV antibiotics all IV medications excluding controlled and RSI medications. ACLS (including drips) using barcode medication verification (BMV) during medication administrations. All IM and oral medications excluding controlled . Plans the care of the patient
Completes accurate documentation in the electronic health record
Provides consistent attention to airway intake elimination sleep rest mobility and hygiene needs
Applies antiembolic stockings and sequential compression devices
Cervical collar management
External defibrillation
Nasal cannula or oxygen mask application
Oral airway insertion and removal
Ultrasoundguided peripheral IV Access
Draw blood from ports
Other duties as assigned by RN
