Join the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) this summer for a rewarding internship experience with our Finance and Accounting team at our Washington DC office! This paid internship offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects and learn the daily workings of a busy accounting department. Our internships are designed to provide students with meaningful and challenging experiences that complement their academic studies.
Join the NAMs Internship Program this Summer and Make an Impact in the Following Ways:
- Assist the accounting team with monthend close tasks account reconciliations and financial reporting
- Help process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Support the preparation of financial reports internal controls documentation and audit schedules
- Participate in special projects including system data entry and process improvements
- Collaborate on a group community service project with other NAM interns
We Are Looking for Interns Who Meet the Following Criteria:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degreegranting program during the internship or a recent graduate (within 8 months) majoring in Accounting Finance or a related field
- Detailoriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and interest in nonprofit finance
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment
- Prior experience in a professional office setting is preferred but not
Compensation:
The accounting intern will be paid $22.00 per hour for the duration of the summer internship.
Duration:
