Banding: Band 6
Location: Nottingham
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing
Available Dates: October 18th 21st 22nd 24th 25th 28th 29th (additional dates to be confirmed)
Rate: 24 27 per hour

Job Description:
We are seeking a Band 6 Locum Audiologist to join our team at Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust in Peterborough. In this role you will provide audiology services on an adhoc basis ensuring highquality patient care in line with professional standards.

What your responsibilities will be for this Audiology role

As a Band 6 Locum Audiologist you will conduct comprehensive hearing assessments for patients adhering to British Society of Audiology (BSA) standards. You will utilize testing equipment such as Auditbase Otosuite and Natus Auricles to carry out accurate audiological evaluations. You will interpret test results and provide appropriate recommendations for further management or referrals based on the findings. You will maintain clear and detailed documentation of all assessments treatments and patient interactions in accordance with professional guidelines. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and optimal outcomes for patients.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Must be a registered Audiologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Must hold a relevant degree in Audiology or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in performing hearing tests in accordance with BSA standards is essential.
  • Proficiency in using Auditbase Otosuite and Natus Auricles is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills are required.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Must demonstrate a commitment to providing patientcentered care and maintaining high standards of practice.
