About The Role:

The House Manager Intensive Therapeutic Care is responsible for the delivery of high quality servicescare andsupportthatpromotestheemotionalsocialandbehaviouralneedsofvulnerable youngpeople withinIntensiveTherapeuticCare.

Thisposition workswithinatraumainformed therapeutic framework andis responsiblefor theleadership supervisionsupport and development of theIntensiveTherapeuticCare staff.

The House Manager works closely with the Therapeutic Specialist Caseworker and other IntensiveTherapeuticCare staff to provide high quality therapeutic care and assist young people to heal from trauma and achieve their full potential.


This is a Permanent Fulltime opportunity based in Grafton NSW within the Intensive Therapeutic Care program. This role reports to the ITC Coordinator.

Key Selection Criteria:

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Bachelors Degree level in social work community services management or relevant field.
  • Aboriginal staff a qualification is desirable but experience and willingness to participate in training is acceptable
  • Understanding of child protection and statutory child protection frameworks
  • Proven leadership skills and demonstrated experience in the supervision of staff;
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in program management service development and review and experience in delivering positive outcomes for vulnerable young people and their families

You must have a (or willing to obtain):

  • Valid and current Drivers Licence;
  • Satisfactory Criminal History Check;
  • Valid Working with Children Check;
  • Valid and current NDIS Workers Screening Check (for risk assessed / client facing roles)
