Village Caregiving Toledo is seeking a Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our team in Vermilion Ohio. As a Home Health Aide you will play a critical role in providing essential care and support to our clients in their home environment. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals and their families.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing dressing and grooming.
- Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation.
- Accurately document and maintain records of care provided.
- Communicate effectively with clients their families and healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) in the state of Ohio.
- Prior experience in home healthcare or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to various client needs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Reliable transportation to travel to client homes.
