Job Description

Job Title:Specialist Neonatal Occupational Therapist
Banding: Band 6
Location: London Greater London
Working Hours: 37.5 hours
Rate: Competitive to be discussed upon application

Pulse Mental Health is seeking a Specialist Neonatal Occupational Therapist to join our NHS client based in London Greater London. The position is available immediately for a shortterm contract.

What will your responsibilities be

You will be responsible for conducting assessments and developing personalised care plans for clients with mental health challenges. You will Provide occupational therapy interventions to promote independence and improve quality of life. You will also be responsible for collaborating with clients families and community resources to achieve therapeutic goals and participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contributing to care planning. You will work autonomously with the neonatal AHP team. You will also be responsible for developing assessments for the premature population and the ability to provide an advanced neonatal OT service for highrisk neonates.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Previous experience in Neonatal Care.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in neonatal training such as; NBO General Movemenets Assessment HINE Sendosry Baby & Sensory Beginnings FINE.
  • Relevant degree/qualification in Occupational Therapy.
  • HCPC registration.
  • Proficiency in developmental assessments for premature infants.
  • Ability to provide specialist OT services for premature babies up to 2 years of age.
