Job Description
As a Nocturnist Hospitalist Physician at Corewell Health West you will play a crucial role in providing highquality patient care. Youll collaborate with interdisciplinary teams manage acute and chronic medical conditions and contribute to the overall wellbeing of our patients.
Essential Functions:
- The nocturnist primary role is overnight admissions.
- The Nocturnists work shifts at both Butterworth and Blodgett Hospitals.
- The Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) cover the floor calls.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance patient safety quality and efficiency.
- Participate in hospital committees quality improvement initiatives and case reviews.
- Mentor medical residents and students fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Excellent schedule of 155 shifts per year.
