The PDMA Evidence Generation Lead (EGL) at Roche leverages deep expertise across multiple disease areas (DA) to provide strategic guidance in Evidence Generation (EG). In collaboration with global stakeholders including Global Access and key Affiliates the EGL ensures the generation of essential evidence for clinical practice access and reimbursement decisions.
Key responsibilities include assessing EG needs prioritizing gaps and leading multicountry EG initiatives. The EGL contributes to overarching EG strategy and governance fosters partner engagement and establishes institutional standards for evidence generation. Through comprehensive EG landscaping activities the EGL gathers insights and data to inform strategic decisions and resource allocation.
The EGL also drives the internal and external acceptance of RealWorld Data (RWD) and RealWorld Evidence (RWE) in healthcare decisionmaking. By shaping crosscountry EG operational models enhancing communication and promoting capabilitybuilding the EGL ensures the generation of highquality evidence that supports impactful decisionmaking.
Additionally the EGL identifies and implements innovative tools and technologies to improve EG efficiency and effectiveness while staying informed about industry trends and advancements. This role requires a strong understanding of disease areas and a focus on fostering collaboration driving innovation and aligning EG activities with the Integrated Evidence Planning (IEP) framework and partners with GELs & GMNLs as well as GMCLs.
Clinical Studies Expertise: Broad experience in strategic aspects of clinical studies within the pharmaceutical industry including study design project management and regulatory requirements.
CrossFunctional Leadership: Proven ability to lead crossfunctional teams fostering collaboration and achieving common goals.
Ethical Standards: High ethical standards ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting transparency and patientcentricity.
Transformational Impact: A strong commitment to driving meaningful impact in a transforming environment.
Agile Mindset: An entrepreneurial and agile mindset to prioritize impactful activities and adapt to dynamic situations.
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership motivational and influencing skills to inspire and guide teams.
Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills with fluency in English (additional languages are an asset).
Educational Background: A life sciences degree with over 10 years of experience in clinical research or healthcare. Advanced qualifications (e.g. PhD or MBA) are advantageous.
