The Wholesale Credit Delivery Middle Office Team provides ongoing support to the credit delivery origination and underwriting process by analyzing and summarizing client and transaction information populating applicable loan origination system(s) and submitting finalized credit packages for approval. The team supports the loan closing process by gathering documentation required for closing coordinating loan closings with the closing team and ensuring the proper booking of all facilities on the loan system. The team is responsible for accurate and timely setup of all client credit files ongoing updates and annual credit file certifications. The team also identifies new and recurring risks related to the origination closing booking and funding of Wholesale Credit Delivery credit products.

Portfolio Specialists are responsible for supporting the efforts of the Wholesale Credit Delivery organization. These responsibilities include but are not limited to portfolio administration ensuring system and data accuracy review of clients financial statement submissions report preparation and distribution and project support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed both major and minor which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

PS responsibilities:

  • Perform activities and manage communication with appropriate internal teammates (Portfolio Managers Relationship Managers Final Approving Officers Loan Ops etc. to ensure consistent application of Wholesale Credit Delivery procedures and processes and compliance with applicable bank policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Establishes and maintains paper and electronic credit files in line with policy and procedural standards. Coordinates with crossfunctional partners to ensure original loan documents are appropriately submitted to the Vault. Supports additional perfection and documentation activities as needed (such as UCC tracking flood due diligence exception clearing etc..
  • Manages tracking and timely receipt of required client reporting. Communicates and elevates past due reporting requirements to PM team.
  • Covenant monitoring and maintenance.
  • Manages requests and follow up on tasks submitted for offshore support.
  • Ensures loan documents and financial statements are uploaded to the appropriate file of record.
  • Provides portfolio monitoring reports on a regular basis.
  • Assists client transfers between portfolios and completes transfer worksheets.
  • Provides administrative support to Portfolio Management teams on risk reviews or audits internal and external.
  • Ensure compliance with real estate valuation and environmental policies for applicable real estate collateralized deals by ordering and reviewing proper valuations and environmental reports.
  • Contribute to Special Projects as assigned by Manager.

  • Bachelors Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Highly motivated professional adept in both verbal and written communication with great attention to detail.

  • Ability to prioritize workflow and multitask in a fastpaced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently or within a team environment.
