Job Description
We are currently seeking individuals who speakPashto/Dari/and/or Farsiand English fluently. The opportunity we currently have available allows the successful candidate to make a difference in their community by helping those with limited English proficiency. If you meet the requirements below and are looking for flexibility in your work hours and the ability to make a positive impact on the community in which you live and serve please follow the instructions to apply.
Requirements:
- Have informal or professional interpretation experience
- Are fluent in bothPashto/Dari/and/or Farsiand English
- It is preferred to have at least a twoyear degree (or equivalent from twoyear college or technical school; or six months to one yearof related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Experience in the healthcare industry experience is preferred although not required (for example pharmacy tech/pharmacist nursing home hospital hospice patient tech practicum hours as part of a nursing program pharmaceutical rep CNA LVN RN volunteering at a hospital etc..
Interpreter must be able to commute for In Person assignments within the Houston Texas Area
