The successful candidate will participate in the analysis of cellular and molecular mechanisms involved in cardiovascular inflammation.
Candidates with experience in cellular immunology molecular biology or biochemistry are specifically encouraged to apply.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated PhD candidate to join our laboratory at the Department of Cardiac Surgery headed by Prof. Adnana PaunelGrgl.
In this project we aim to investigate the role of neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs) in the development and progression of heart failure. To this end we will utilize established mouse models of myocardial infarction as well as transcriptomics proteomics flow cytometry and in vitro models. This research has significant translational potential and may contribute to the development of novel therapeutic approaches to improve patient outcomes.
