In this role youll play a key part in:
- Drafting negotiating and finalising commercial contracts while conducting indepth risk reviews to ensure that smart building projects meet the highest standards of innovation and costefficiency.
- Partnering with sales and project delivery teams to align on customer requirements and delivery strategies ensuring smart building solutions exceed client expectations while driving sustainability and functionality.
- Engaging in the postcontract phase of highprofile BMS projects managing commercial operations to ensure transparency in obligations risks costs and project outcomes and delivering unparalleled value in energy management and decarbonisation.
- Applying your construction law expertise to navigate standard contracts such as NEC and JCT while maintaining a strong commercial focus on BMS controls and smart building technologies to support the companys commitment to cuttingedge solutions and efficient project delivery.
To be considered for this role you should have:
- A relevant professional qualification (such as LLB MRICS BSc QS) with a solid grasp of construction law including familiarity with NEC and JCT contracts.
- Proven experience in a commercial or contract management role within the Construction or Mechanical & Electrical sectors.
- A strong understanding of the energy industry along with commercial awareness of energy technologies and solutions.
- The ability to effectively deliver on contract obligations ensuring optimal outcomes for the organisation.
- Knowledge or familiarity with Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) and M&E Plant as well as a background in the construction industry which would be beneficial.
