Responsibilities
Noblis MSDs mission is to support the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWCPD) and their missions to enable research development test and evaluation acquisition engineering systems integration inservice and fleet engineering with cybersecurity comprehensive logistics and lifecycle savings. Noblis MSD is looking to hire Several Submarine Systems Engineers at various career levels.
Noblis MSD is seeking an Engineers with various backgrounds in submarine systems to support submarine auxiliary/machinery systems.
Roles and responsibilities may include:
- Support testing and troubleshooting efforts (labbased and shipboard) for auxiliary machinery control systems (propulsion controls indicator drive units hotwell controls).
- Develop review update and execute test plans/procedures.
- Evaluate technical information received from the Fleet (Fleet messages advisories etc..
- Develop review update technical documentation.
- Provide engineering support for design repair installation modification maintenance and operation of systems.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in engineering and 0 to 5 years of related experience or a High School Diploma and 6 to11 years of related experience; or equivalent experience serving on a Nuclear Submarine.
- Prior Navy Nuclear training required
- 25 travel required
- US Citizen with a DoD Secret is desired; the ability to get a Secret Clearance is required
JuniorLevel
- Bachelors degreeand 0 3 years of experience or a HS Diploma and at least 6 years relevant experience
- Background in US Navy Nuclear Submarine Systems
- Compensation: $63600 $99450
MidLevel
- Bachelors degree in and 3 to 5 years of experience or a HS Diploma and at least 9 years relevant experience
- Midilevel background in US Navy Nuclear Submarine Systems
- Compensation: $77000 $120075
SeniorLevel
- Bachelors degree in and 5 years of experience or a HS Diploma and at least 11 years relevant experience
- Senior experience in US Navy Nuclear Submarine Systems
- Compensation: $93200 $145550

- Ability to read and understand technical documentation
- Ability to troubleshoot challenging technical issues

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors including but not limited to the combination of education certifications knowledge skills competencies and experience internal and external equity location clearance level as well as contractspecific affordability organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this positionis based on full time status. For part time or oncall staff compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important its just one component of Noblis total compensation package.
