This is an in office only position Monday through Friday with a flexible work schedules between office hours 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. It is located at The Nebraska State Office Building 301 Centennial Mall S 3rd floor Lincoln Ne 68508.

Job duties
Under direct supervision assist senior developers responsible for all phases of software development configuration integration connectivity and testing activities related to the application in a largescale IT environment including server applications. Tools used are but not limited to MS SQL Server DB2 ODBC UDB XEngine XEServer EAM TM TPM Tableau and MQ. Software development activities include requirements gathering analysis functional and technical design construction and testing implementation and production support. Team member will work closely with business analysts other technical analysts managers and business sponsors. Other duties as assigned within the scope of the classification
Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Experience education or training in coding computer applications. Experience working on small to medium sized projects. Associates degree or equivalent experience. Experience coding and support of computer applications.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Edifecs XEngine applications 2 Knowledge of the X12 HIPAA transaction set 3 Experience working with servers including installation and upgrades
Other: Regular and reliable attendance is required.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Candidates must be service oriented have strong interpersonal and analytical skills that include working directly with various levels of business and technical staff to determine sound technical solutions for business requirements. Candidate must have strong technical organization planning problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
