DIRECTOR OF NURSING (DON) CONTRACT/TEMPTOPERM
Location: Bellingham WA
Pay: $70$75/hr (DOE)
Contract Length: 13 weeks (TemptoPerm option available)
Job Description:
ATC Northwest is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to join our team in Bellingham WA. This is a contract position with the potential to transition into a permanent role after the 13week probation period.A Director of Nursing (DON)is responsible for overseeing nursing services ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining highquality patient care.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure adequate staffing levels and manage scheduling.
- Supervise and manage nursing staff includingRNs LPNs and CNAs.
- Foster a positive work environment and address staff concerns.
- Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans.
- Monitor and address patient concerns incidents or changes in condition.
- Communicate with families regarding patient care and concerns.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Director of Nursing
- ActiveRN license in Washington State
- BLS Certification
- COVID Vaccinated
- Recent PPD Test or Chest XRay
- Clear criminal background check(s) & drug screening
