Elim Summer Only Paraprofessional
Be the good in this world by helping others while you help yourself. As a Summer Only Paraprofessional at Elim youll assist students with developmental disabilities achieve more learn more and grow. Youll work with students to create a positive safe and productive learning environment. Youll also assist our students with their personal care needs like helping them with their clothes grooming toileting hygiene and mobility.
Were looking for people who care about people. As a Summer Only Paraprofessional youll be required to:
- Provide educational support for students and teachers
- Address personal care needs
- Provide supervision and behavioral interventions
Its fulfilling work that makes an immediate difference in lives. To help our students you will be provided training and instruction on behavior management communication techniques and assistive technology.
About Elim:
At Elim we believe that every person has a Godgiven purpose and we are passionate about helping children and adults with developmental disabilities discover and pursue theirs. Through our special education programs vocational training and adult services we create a place where students and adults are not only cared for but celebrated.
Hours:
- M W Th: 8:15am to 3:00pm T 8:15am to 3:15pm
- June 9 to July 24 must be able to work the entire 7 weeks
- Off on Fridays
Wages & Benefits:
* Competitive starting pay of $20.92 $22.42/hr for hours worked
Education Licenses & Certifications:
A Paraprofessional Substitute Teacher or Professional Educator License is required. Must be at least 19 years old to obtain paraprofessional license. Not sure how to get your license Please ask and we can provide instructions.
