Were looking for a proactive and resilient Field Operations Project Manager to join our Land Soil and Coast group in Bangor North Wales.
Reporting to the Head of Group youll play a vital part in delivering large complex multiorganisation projects focused on monitoring the condition and changes in land and freshwater ecosystems. Youll coordinate field operations and manage a large and widely distributed team of up to 40 Field Surveyors ensuring the successful collection of vital data and samples across Wales and other regions.
Current projects the team are working on include ERAMMP and Countryside Survey which both monitor the state and change of the countryside to support governments to development environmental policy.
Youll collaborate with a range of subcontractors liaise with key stakeholders and work alongside both scientific and central functions to ensure field surveys are planned and delivered effectively. As the pin of our field survey management team youll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and effective communication across multiple areas.
