Welcome to the unique industry of Construction Materials Testing & Inspections where the work you do is vital to construction and the growth of our communities!
Your Role as a Grade Drainage Technician:
You will learn to inspectconstruction work performed by contractors/trades to check it complies with the requirements of the project specificationsand building codes.Grade Drainage Technicians use tools such as a laser level and grade rod. You will help ensure proper water flow away from structures to prevent ponding. You will collect field data including measurements photographs and sketches and present your findings in a clear and organized manner for engineering review.
This is a handson position that requires strong observational skills accuracy and the ability to communicate clearly with both homeowners and the engineering team. Excellent customer service is a must as you will be interacting with clients onsite.
Work Schedule:
The Field Technician is a fulltime position working upwards of 40 hours a week Monday Friday. We work between the hours of 6am to 4pm.The daily schedule sent out the night before between 5PM6PM provides the time of your first inspection the next day. You can expect to drive up to 100 miles a day in a companyprovided truck as you move between job sites.
Work Requirements:
Must be able to work independently with little to no supervision. Lift up to 75 lbs. have a valid drivers license a clean driving record and a desire to learn and grow with Arizonas leading Geotechnical testing and inspection company.
No Experience Required at ProTeX were Invested in YOU
As a valued member of the ProTeX team we will train you mentor you and help you advance in the industry on Construction Inspections. As you gain experience and acquire training you will have the opportunity to advance to higher profile inspections
BENEFITS:
Startingpay is $18/hour SelfPacedPay Progressions
Work truck Provided. Commuting privileges will be granted after completing training.
