Kleinfelder a longstanding industry leader in Seattle Washington is looking for a Certified Welding Inspector to join our Seattle office.

Were looking for a welding inspection professional to join us in providing highlevel inspection and testing services to our diverse client base on projects throughout Washington and the surrounding area. We need seasoned staff who are comfortable being actively engaged on construction sites performing special inspections and testing of construction materials in the field. This role offers a dynamic work environment the opportunity to work on multiple highprofile projects and be part of an industry leading company.
Consideration for this position requires the following certifications or experience:
- 5 years of welding inspection experience.
- Current Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification from the American Welding Society (AWS).
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record and ability to pass drug test;
- High School Diploma or equivalent;
- Ability to work independently and as a team member maintaining composure and working effectively in a highpressure environment with changing priorities.
- Must have excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to use a company provided laptop or tablet computer and a working knowledge of MS Office programs (e.g. Word Excel Outlook etc..
- Organization and multitasking ability.
- A good work ethic attention to detail and high level of personal integrity.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
In addition to the above required certifications and experience hiring preference will be given to those with the following certifications or experience:
- ICC Structural Steel & Welding Special Inspector.
- ICC Structural Steel and Bolting Special Inspector.
- ASNT Nondestructive Testing (NDT) experience; minimum level II certification in ultrasonic testing (UT) magnetic particle testing (PT) and dye penetrant testing (DT) preferred.
- Additional ICC Special Inspection certifications

Benefits:Kleinfelder offers an excellent compensation and benefits package including: medical dental vision life insurance 401(k) plan and paid holidays.The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience. Salary range: $33000 $61000.
