Project Engineer Construction (General Contractor)
Everett WA
Are you a PE in the North End who would love to work closer to home Join a dynamic and growing local Commercial GC with upcoming projects in the Everett and Marysville areas. If you have at least a year of commercial construction experience in a PE role then this may be the right job for you!
Project Engineer Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with Project Architects Designers owners and field personnel.
- Generate Requests for Information (RFI) and submittals.
- Inspect work to assure compliance with plans and specifications.
- Manage project subcontractors.
- Understand the project budget and assist with buyouts.
- Monitor and track project quality control metrics and activities on a regular basis; provide timely and accurate quality reports and raise issues to PM or Superintendent as needed.
- Generate project punch list and closeout documentation.
Project Engineer Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
- At least one year of demonstrated experience as a Project Engineer.
- Multistory project experience needed such as office multifamily selfstorage or high rise.
- Excellent communication skills required for interaction with vendors designers consultants and clients.
- MS Project and Excel experience.
