Exciting opportunity for an experienced Associate Software Developerto join our CISB Teamin Columbia SC. Take a key role in driving success as will work on an enterprise level application within the utility market. In this role the developer should contain a high level of analytical skills and be able to work with multiple scrum teams to produce software products within a defined SDLC.
You are a highly enthusiastic individual passionate software development professional eager to contribute your technical expertise and collaborative mindset to a modern customercentric environment. You excel in delivering highquality solutions meeting deadlines and embracing new technologies and processes.
- Proficient in relevant tools and technologies such as Oracle Databases PL/SQL Java Python or web development frameworks (e.g. React Vue Node). Strong skills in performance tuning API development and UI/UX design.
- Handson experience with source management tools like GIT and SourceTree and working knowledge of IDEs such as IntelliJ or Oracle IDEs.
- Deep understanding of SDLC and modern development approaches with a commitment to following best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities enabling effective teamwork in Agile environments.
- Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) in Software Programming Computer Science or Engineering with 35 years of relevant professional experience.
- Develop detailed technical specifications and provide risk assessments for new or modified components.
- Design develop and program agreed system modifications including performance tuning of code and database components.
- Work closely with Business Analysts to understand and define client requirements assisting in system customization where necessary.
- Conduct unit testing diagnose and resolve system defects and ensure adherence to established standards and procedures.
- Resolve integration issues promote systems to new and existing customers and ensure seamless project deliverables.
- Accurately estimate labor hours calendar time and timelines for tasks ensuring realistic planning and delivery.
