Job Description:
The Biomedical Science team at Pulse is currently recruiting a Band 7 Biomedical Scientist in Virology to work in a busy NHS hospital in Coventry. We are looking for a Biomedical Scientist who can make a real difference in supporting the laboratorys Microbiology service. The candidate must have management experience.
What Will You Be Doing in This Role
As a Biomedical Scientist in Virology you will use PCR and other molecular techniques to identify significant pathogens. You will also support the senior biomedical scientists in delivering the service and provide guidance to junior members of staff.
Essential Requirements for This Position:
- HCPC registration
- Experience in Virology Molecular Biology or Microbiology
- NHS laboratory experience
