In this position...

The Senior Global Supply Chain Manager is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing a significant piece of Fords global supply chain operations. This role requires extensive experience strong leadership and the ability to develop and implement innovative strategies to optimize the supply chain.

This highvisibility role will initially focus on a special projectbuilding global supply chain capabilities and unlocking financial value by 2025. This project partners with a worldclass third party and offers significant internal networking opportunities. The successful candidate will be a catalyst for broader supply chain transformation acting as a role model and trendsetter. This requires resilience strong business acumen and a playtowin attitude. Postproject skills will be applied across multiple Ford buying teams.



Responsibilities

What youll do...

  • Oversee and manage a team of supply chain managers.
  • Develop and implement longterm global sourcing strategies aligned with Fords overall business objectives.
  • Manage a large portfolio of critical commodities ensuring cost optimization risk mitigation and supply chain resilience.
  • Lead crossfunctional collaboration across multiple departments and regions.
  • Develop and implement advanced cost models and forecasting techniques.
  • Manage strategic supplier relationships fostering collaboration and innovation.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks including geopolitical environmental and technological factors.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives driving efficiency and cost reduction across the supply chain.
  • Develop and manage significant budgets and resources.
  • Mentor and develop team members fostering a culture of innovation and high performance.
  • Present strategic supply chain plans and recommendations to senior leadership.


Qualifications

Youll have...

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering Business Supply Chain or Operations Management.
  • 8 years of experience in supply chain management with at least 3 years in leadership roles.
  • Deep understanding of global supply chain dynamics including manufacturing processes materials and geopolitical factors.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and developing highperforming teams.

  • MBA preferred.
  • Expertise in advanced supply chain management techniques and technologies.
  • Excellent strategic planning analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Exceptional communication presentation and leadership skills. Experience presenting to executive leadership.
