Expert in AINLPML

We currently have a vacancy for an Expert in AI/NLP/ML fluent in English to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the companys premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major clients IT team on site

Your tasks

• Integration and maintenance of software applications or services in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in different technologies such as: Natural Language Processing (NLP); Machine Learning (ML); Information Extraction; Knowledge Graphs (KG) or Graph Data Science (GDS);
• Market studies and technical evaluation of advanced commercial or opensource products or services in the above fields;
• Prompt engineering on Large Language Models and validation of results with the business/policy officers;
• Implementation of Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques;
• Interact with policy officers data stewards and other stakeholders to understand business and data needs turn them into use cases prototypes or statements of work and eventually support the solution acceptance process;
• Design the IT architecture and hosting solutions and coordinate its implementation considering cloud technologies containers DevOps master and metadata management concepts and security.

• Masters degree in IT or relevant discipline combined with a minimum 17 years of relevant working experience in IT;
• Minimum 8 years of specific expertise in Perl Python Matlab R and their NLP/ML
• libraries (SpaCy NLTK scikitlearn pandas);
• Minimum 8 years of specific expertise in machine learning techniques and algorithms such as kNN Naive Bayes SVM Decision Forests Neural Network and/or artificial intelligence frameworks Large Language Model prompt engineering as well as Retrieval Augmented Generation techniques.;
• Minimum 7 years of specific expertise in query languages such as SQL Hive Pig etc and with information extraction;
• Minimum 5 years of specific expertise in data management and analytics including data quality as well as excellent knowledge of advanced data retrieval tools;
• Minimum 5 years of specific expertise in AWS Azure or other cloud platforms;
• Minimum 5 years of specific expertise in machine learning systems lifecycle;
• Minimum 5 years of specific expertise in software development methodologies such as Agile or RUP;
• Minimum 5 years of specific expertise in NoSQL databases such as MongoDB Cassandra HBase Neo4j etc.;
• Minimum 5 years of specific expertise in data analytics over big datasets nonstructured databases as well as data lakes including data visualisation tools for connected data (e.g. D3.js knowledge graphs etc.;
• Minimum 5 years of specific expertise in applied statistics such as distributions statistical testing regression etc;
• The following certificates would be considered as an asset: AWS Certified Machine Learning or Microsoft Azure AI Engineer Associate SAS Certified Professional AI and Machine Learning Certification;
• Excellent command of the English language.
