Position Summary
The Department of Sociology at Indiana University Bloomington invites applications for a tenured position at the level of Associate or Full Professor. Candidates who can add to departmental strengths in sexual health reproductive health or health disparities are preferred. The successful candidate is a wellestablished researcher with a strong record of federal funding who is committed to excellence in scholarship and teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The start date is flexible from August 2023 to August 2024. Review of applicants begins immediately and will continue until the position is filled. Applicants must have a PhD in sociology or a related field and a distinguished record of research teaching and mentoring appropriate for a tenured professorship at IU Bloomington.
