Job Description
Job Summary:
Sir Walter Chevrolet is seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Technician to join our team in Raleigh North Carolina. As a Service Technician you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various automobile issues performing routine maintenance and providing exceptional customer service. This is a fulltime hourly position in the auto industry and is an individual contributor role.

Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on vehicles including engine transmission brakes and suspension systems
Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes tire rotations and brake inspections
Communicate with Service Advisors to understand and address the Customers concerns
Use diagnostic equipment and specialized tools to accurately identify and resolve issues
Keep detailed records of repairs and maintenance services performed
Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
Stay uptodate with industry advancements and training opportunities
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Prefer a Minimum of 2 years experience as a Service Technician in the auto industry
Technical certification in automotive repair or equivalent experience preferred but not required
Strong diagnostic and problemsolving skills
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fastpaced environment
Exceptional customer service and communication skills
Must have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends as needed
