Job Description
Berglund Used Car Super Center is looking for a Service Technician. We are part of Berglund Automotive a wellestablished and reputable automotive group with 10 locations representing 20 different automotive brands throughout Southwest and Central Virginia.
Job Summary:
As a technician you will be responsible for diagnosing repairing and maintaining vehicles while maintaining a positive relationship with customers and service advisors in the shop.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiencyand in accordance with dealership policies
- Testdrive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnose maintain and repair vehicle automotive systems
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers may be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications:
- STATE INSPECTION LICENSE REQUIRED
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an auto technician desired
- Manufacturer certified or willing to obtain required certifications
- Have knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
- Are a fast learner
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Have excellent customer service skills
- Are a team player
- Are computer literate
- Should be able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Have a valid drivers license
- Have a High School Diploma
