Meeting Street is currently looking for a Speech Language Pathologist in Early Intervention working 40 hours weekly.
Duties:
- Assess the functional capabilities of children ages 03 relative to their ageappropriate milestones for potential developmental delays or developmental risk factors.
- Provide individual homebased and virtual services for a caseload of families with a wide range of racial backgrounds cultures religions socioeconomic status sexual orientation gender identity and abilities with understanding of how their life experiences may be impacted by social determinants.
- Collaborate with the family to develop goals to address the childs development that fit into their daily routines and play.
- Teach and coach caregivers to integrate strategies into the familys daily routines to aid in the child meeting major developmental milestones.
- Continuously assess the progress of your clients and collaboratively adjust the plan as needed.
- Consult and partner with a multidisciplinary team of professionals including Occupational Therapists Physical Therapists Nurses and Social Workers.
- Ensure that all events and documentation are completed within the programs required timelines.
Requirements:
- Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in Massachusetts.
- Valid drivers license and ability to provide own transportation to appointments.
- CPR and first aid certifications or be willing and able to become certified.
