Pay Range
The pay range for this position is $17.03 31.56 hourly
Is this role subject to ITAR
The essential duties of this position require adherence to U.S. Government export control regulations. Accordingly candidates must either be U.S. Persons (i.e. U.S. citizens U.S. lawful permanent residents or protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)3 or be prepared to collaborate with the company in securing the necessary U.S. government export authorizations. Now is your chance to make a difference. We are hiring immediately for a full time Mechanical Assembler. With a culture rooted in continuous improvement this role is mission critical.
Your Role:
As a Production Assembler you can expect to be our goto for driving continuous improvement in the operations and assembly process. More specifically in this role you:
- Work under direct supervision.
- Weigh and press inert & energetic materials.
- Set up and use analytical balance.
- Perform inert assembly operations.
- Minor cabling potting tinning and assembly work.
- Set up and use powder press for pressing operation.
- Some minor setup capability for specific equipment.
- May have some basic soldering experience.
- Performs various production assembly operations on components and subassemblies.
- Uses visual aids drawings and verbal and written instruction to assemble modify rework or reassemble units. Receives detailed instruction on new assignments.
- Install subassemblies.
- Must display proficient dexterity to insure safe handling of explosive devices.
- All work is performed in explosive handling areas.
- If required attend offsite training classes to maintain certification requirements. (i.e. JSTD)
- OT required for Friday and Saturday as needed.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Will provide on the job training (OJT)
- Must have the ability to understand and speak English as well as read and write in English.
Preferred:
- Industry experience
- Ability to work overtime.
