About the role

As a Manager Zonal Collection Strategy youll lead the charge in optimising and executing collection strategies across diverse regions. Your role will involve crafting efficient processes ensuring seamless coordination with stakeholders and driving performance to meet ambitious financial targets. With a focus on continuous improvement youll play a pivotal role in shaping strategic initiatives and ensuring smooth operations across the North Zone.

Key responsibilities

  1. Collections management and strategy:
    • Actively monitor and manage collections to meet annual operating plan (AOP) targets 810K Crores for North Zone)
    • Develop and execute strategies for improving collection efficiencies ensuring alignment with organisational goals
  2. Forecasting and planning:
    • Conduct realtime forecasting reforecasting and planning to achieve AOP numbers effectively
    • Address reconciliation challenges arising from multiple collations at regional and project levels
  3. Data coordination and consolidation:
    • Maintain centralised standardised data and templates for reviews and monitoring
    • Streamline collation efforts across North Zones diverse projects and geographies
  4. Stakeholder coordination:
    • Facilitate smooth coordination among team leaders (TLs) regional collection heads (RCHs) and project teams
    • Ensure all stakeholders operate with unified data and processes for consistency and efficiency
  5. Efficiency monitoring and improvement
    • Use realtime dashboards to monitor collection performance and address fresh due efficiencies daily
    • Oversee the intensity of outstanding case followups and resolve stuck cases effectively
  6. Review and reporting:
    • Conduct detailed reviews of collection performance across NZs projects
    • Provide actionable insights to improve collection processes and achieve parity across zones
  7. Adaptation to regional challenges:
    • Address unique challenges in NZ including construction constraints (e.g. GRAP) and the wide range of project complexities.
    • Adapt strategies to the zones specific needs leveraging lessons from successful implementations in other zones.


Educational Qualification

  1. Bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance or a related field (MBA preferred)
  2. Specialised certifications in data analysis collections management or customer service (e.g. Six Sigma PMP) are an advantage


Experience

  1. 10 years of experience in collections credit management or customer relationship management with at least 23 years in a strategic or zonal leadership role
  2. Proven track record of managing largescale collections for diverse geographies and complex projects
