Job Description
HVAC Estimator
Are you an experienced HVAC professional looking to transition into an estimating role We are seeking a detailoriented and knowledgeable HVAC Estimator to join our team!
About the Role:
As an HVAC Estimator you will be responsible for analyzing project specifications preparing cost estimates and assisting with bid proposals. Your expertise in HVAC systems will be essential in ensuring accurate and competitive estimates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review project blueprints specifications and requirements to develop accurate cost estimates
- Work closely with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing for materials and equipment
- Collaborate with sales project managers and technicians to ensure estimates align with job requirements
- Analyze labor material and overhead costs to prepare competitive bids
- Assist in developing proposals and contracts for potential clients
- Maintain uptodate knowledge of HVAC industry trends products and pricing
Qualifications & Experience:
- Prior HVAC experience is requiredeither as a technician or in a related role such as service manager procurement specialist or customer service within the HVAC industry
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems materials and installation processes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints drawings and technical documents
- Proficiency in estimating software or Microsoft Excel is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
